Survey.  The Controllership Capacity Check web survey examines key factors in modern management and asks survey participants to assess the current and desired states of each criterion and to identify the top five criteria in terms of importance to the organization.

The survey consists of 34 criteria that describe commonly accepted modern management practices, grouped into the following topics: Leadership Commitment, Business Planning and Risk Management, Modern Management Competencies, Control Systems, Performance Management, and Accountability Management.

Reports.  Comprehensive reports are available as the survey progresses. Managers authorized to view the reports can track the number of respondents and their average responses by section and by criterion.

Detailed reports for each of the criteria are also provided, as well as a raw data export to Excel for more sophisticated data manipulation. Reports can be viewed by department or for the entire organization.

Financial Information Systems (FIS) - Take a tour

Individual Summary. Each survey allows individual users to see a summary of their answers, and to return to the survey to complete or modify their answers.

For the FIS Performance Scorecard survey, the questions are grouped into the following six sections: Budgeting, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Journal Entries, Transfer Payments, and Directors of Finance and Controllers.

Scorecard Report. The FIS Performance Scorecard survey has the additional feature of a color-coded scorecard report. The aim of the scorecard is to assess how well the FIS was implemented, identify the obstacles to better implementation and areas where improved functionality is required.


E-Government

Readiness assessment.  The e-Government tool is used to assess an organization's readiness to provide e-Government services to serve their clients, employees and partners. This assessment outlines a unique, five-step path to world class practices in e-Government service delivery.

Summary results provide the user and their organization with valuable insights as to where users believe the organization is now on the five-step path and where they would like to be.


Alternative Service Delivery

Program Delivery.  The Alternative Service Delivery tool is used to assess an organization's capacity, in terms of its people, processes and technology capabilities, to best implement alternative service delivery arrangements.

Alternative Service Delivery is defined as the best way to deliver programs, activities, services and functions to achieve organization objectives, while creating a more client-oriented, affordable and innovative program delivery environment.

Regulatory Management

The Regulatory Management tool is used to assess a regulatory organization's operational and management practices against recognized best practices and principles.

Flexibility.  Each survey can be returned to again and again as the user's time permits. The total time required to complete the surveys range from 1-2 hours.
